Pitcher's Pub in Frankfurt

Most of the reviews and photos here refer to the old Pitcher's, the new location in the Berger has only been around since August 2020. The food offers are unfortunately not that typical for a pub, schnitzel, hand cheese, Jägermeister and wheat beer next to Guinness & Co, but no food from the island? The burgers are average, the dip boring, and the service really nice.

The original bar has closed which Google uses in it's photos. New bar only opened on Saturday 8th August so none of these reviews apply.

It doesn't have much in common with an Irish pub. Serving Guinness is not enough. First commandment would be friendliness, that is what Irish hospitality is all about. Then - how about some Irish food? Here you don't know what an Irish stew or a shepard's pie is; Note: neither schnitzel nor burgers are Irish. It doesn't help much if the (unfriendly) Kurdish waiter insists on speaking Pidgin English and finding German "Sch ... ße". He should first learn to behave.

Nice Irish pub with great live music on Thursdays! And they even have an open mic night on Thursdays!? I have to give it a try ;-) And drinks, service and the atmosphere are great. I'll be coming back :-)

Great pub, very friendly service, extremely good live music!

I just moved to the area and grabbed a burger quickly to eat. Typical pub atmosphere. Well-groomed and iconic. Bridged the waiting time with a Guinness. Perfectly tapped and at an optimal temperature. The service was very nice. There is live music on Friday / Saturday. I will definitely test that. the real reason for my visit, the burgers, absolutely world class!

It is getting better day after day. A new place, so it takes time. The staff is very friendly and nice.

Staff great, friendly, the schnitzel are great, you have to try it, price-performance ratio is right.

Great bartender music and for footbal fans is there a flat-screen with sky???

There is a good atmosphere in the Pitcher's Pub, the British bartender fascinated with his show, where he juggled bottles, I could watch him with good Guinness and delicious schnitzel and nice conversations. I left the pub completely satisfied. Always worth a visit.

We came here on a whim as we saw it opened yesterday while finding somewhere to eat. Very glad we discovered this pub, as the food is excellent and the staff are friendly and speak English as well as German.

congratulations on the opening and a warm welcome in the neighborhood. We just had a few pints of Guiness and Kilkenny and can truly confirm that this traditional place got some really nice new owners. It looks like a real Irish pub, the beer is good, the food is good. Cool place to chill out after a late afternoon stroll in downtown Frankfurt. A great tasting burger paired with a couple of glass of local beer. Fantastic!

More of an English bar. Red telephone box inside with English crown on it and English bar staff and a sign of Buckingham palace on the wall

Fantastic Irish Pub. Guinness Pitchers!!!!! Foid is awesome especially the Goulash

From 9pm the pub turns into smoking space. The guests are allowed to smoke inside. Kitchen is average however good price

Better look in the kitchen for the food. Tastes very good but ... there are regulations! Super service..Respect with so many customers. You can not be sensitive to noise.

The first time I came here was because of the music playing there - Aerosmith - then I kept coming in. Great service, friendly staff, drinks not too expensive and them soccer games playing on them screens. Can't count the number of times I've been here since.

Very nice staff, quaint little Irish pub with delicious cold Irish beer. The food looked very good, unfortunately we did not get to try it. The only drawback: from 21 o'clock may (at least on Saturdays) in the restaurant to be smoked.

Great service

I felt very welcome after walking in not being able to speak German and the bar staff easily shifting to English. I had the cheese bacon burger, very tasty and well priced.

Nice little pub. Nice people, great service and from 21:00 o'clock you can even smoke. What more could you expect from a pub.

I really like this Pub because of the atmosphere. They play multiple different types of sports on TV on a Friday and even played American Football. The burgers are also pretty good. The pictures make it look bigger than what it is, so the pub isn't that big. Also, it isn't that far from the main train station.
